A day started with a small discussion on Xploring Lucknow-The City Of Nawabs, But we already did that months ago, you can visit our blog 17 Top Places To Visit in Lucknow to Xplore some of the best places in Lucknow, So now we found that a festival (Lucknow Mahotsav) with about 45 years old history which is going on from 4th December 2021, Then we decided to visit Lucknow Mahotsav, and this was the best thing that i am doing, Making a blog on Lucknow Mahotsav after the visit.

The History Of Lucknow Mahotsav | Bharat Mahotsav At Lucknow
The History of Lucknow Mahotsav was started in 1976 for promoting the Art and Culture of Lucknow, It began by keeping in mind about the old glories like the TONGA Races this all even promotes the international tourism and the national too.
The Celebration of the Lucknow Mahotsav Festival makes it different from other states of India, It is held Once every year having an exception of few years in the months from last of November to the beginning of December, A 10 Day festival which is held most of the time at Hazratmahal Park and Later At Lucknow Mahotsav Sthal which was only made for Lucknow Mahotsav.

The Day at Lucknow Mahotsav | Bharat Mahotsav was one of the best day’s in my list, The entry at Mahotsav gave me a feeling like entering in a small India with all kind of Indians and their Culture, Art and different type people with their different characters.
In Lucknow Mahotsav their were stalls and in those stalls most of them were representing their own Traditions & their Traditional goods, Like Foods, Cloths, Dancing, & Creativities.
The Tightrope Walker
First we saw a small girl who was Funambulising (Tightrope Walking) with a long stick in her hands and she was juggling with different different type of object like once she was with the cycle rim.
The Hawai Mithai Wala (Sweet Cotton Candy)
Then we found a Vendor selling SWEET COTTON CANDY and is also named as HAWAI MITHAI WALA in indian or hindi language we asked him about the festival he told us that about all the religion thing of India will be their in this Mahotsav, we clicked a photo of the vendor.

After that we saw the statue of the God Ganeshaa then of Buddha’s and many other statues, we found some of the showpieces of small Car, Bike, Train, Cycle, Rickshaw, Swords & many other things which were made of the nuts & bolts we found the shopkeepers who were the one who created the things like that.
Rajasthani’s Band (The Traditional Dance)
Before seeing the amazing statue creativity we found a Rajasthani Band who were making the beats with their drums and other instruments, two of them were performing, It was like their Ancestral Tradition.
They told us about their dance how it came to their tradition, their excitement in Lucknow Mahotsav was just awesome.
Potter (The Motivator)
Then we moved to another stall who was a potter and has kept the pottery items which were unique and the things in that stall looked different to all other stalls,
He told us about his past , that first he used to do the farming for food but after few year’s of farming (Almost 10 years) he wanted to do the things he like then found his interest in pottery and developed his skills in pottery and now he is a potter and even has a stall at Lucknow Mahotsav.
